I think it would be a tough call to decide if modern Georg Jensen is more appealing than his initial designs. The pieces I own are mostly 1948 on, so none of the Art Nouveau pieces he did that resembled traditional Scandinavian pieces. I’d love an amber or moonstone brooch from that period.

This necklace is a play on those earlier ones, focusing on the spheres that adorned many of them. I particularly like the clever clasp on this, where a “knob” of silver slides into a notch.
