Shaesby’s work has morphed over time from tiny delicate gold pieces to more substantial sculptural work. Case in point: this pyramid ring made of gold and sterling silver. It reminds me a bit of Japanese mokume gane gold work.
The site notes, “This pyramid ring with a 22k yellow gold inlay and oxidized sterling silver pyramid and a 14k yellow gold base
ring is 5/8″ wide and 1/2″ tall. Our jewelry is designed and made one piece at a time in our Austin, Texas studio. Each style is specially handcrafted for you. At Shaesby, we work with sterling silver, 14k and 18k yellow, white and rose gold, and platinum upon request. all materials are responsibly and ethically sourced.”
This sells for USD$2,475.
