Sapphire is my birthstone, and I’d be oh so happy if someone decided I needed this as a gift. The pale blue 23 carat cabochon (though it looks a bit pointed so maybe it’s a sugarloaf cut) sapphire is swoonworthy. It’s set in an 18k yellow gold band, no hallmarks according to Etsy seller Atelier de Mon Plaisir.

Already a substantial sized stone, this must have looked gigantic on the original wearer’s hand, given that the ring size is a very petite 4.75. This sells for USD$7,000.
