Ah, but the Ringly is not merely a ring. The web site notes, “Ringly connects to your phone and sends you customized notifications through vibration and light.”

It also comes in a variety of stones, several of which ware quite luscious. Is it wrong that I want one? How much fun would this ring be in a meeting (OK, a bit tough to explain, potentially, but also probably worth it.)

The launch collection is made with  an 18K matte gold 3 micron plated setting, using precious and semi-precious stones, including moonstone, pink sapphire, black onyx and rutilated quartz. Available in US sizes 6, 7 and 8. New orders will ship Winter 2014/2015.
