The luscious pate de verre for which Maison Gripoix is known is still mouth watering after so many decades. It was founded in 1869 and has provided jewelled adornments for many of the leading couture houses.
Gripoix is perhaps best known for making costume jewellery for Chanel when it was still being designed by Coco herself. The poured glass technique results in elements that are rich and unfoiled, with a smooth and usually rounded or cabochon surface.
This bracelet features the pate de verre pieces set into palladium plated copper in an open C format. Now owned and being designed by Marie Keslassy, this piece is sold by GiftLab for £2,800. You can find out more about Gripoix on their site, here.
