The end of every year is always bittersweet, between events in our personal lives, and what’s going on around the world. Humans seem to specialize in being cruel to each other and some days, it seems we haven’t progressed much as a species since the Dark Ages.

My husband did this graphic a few years ago but the sentiment still fits.
