This piece lives up to its name and it is wonderful in the way a beautiful opal piece can be. Dubbed the Outrageous Opal Twig bracelet, the centrepiece is a large Australian opal, set in 18k yellow “branch” textured gold.

Mickey has a terrific vibe to her designs. I just visited her site. The “wrinkle rings” are fantastic. They’re so wearable, and they look as comfortable as an easy chair.
The bracelet is a look I’ve seen way too much, to be quite honest. Since I’m in the business, please forgive my somewhat jaded response. Another designer who uses the twiggy branch coral motif is Pade Vavra. Her pieces tend to go a bit edgier. They both work in 18K gold. They both use nature as their muse. Mickey is a consummate craftsperson, do doubt. I imagine the finishing is flawless. I’d love to meet this charming lady.
