These are chic interpretations by Canadian born but California resident Amanda Loos. Her site notes, “The Los Angeles landscape informs her work, which is influenced by the order and integrity of geometry, the stark neutrality of white, bold bursts of color and the interplay of positive and negative space. The resulting work is delicate yet bold – endless summers, clear blue skies and technicolor sunsets. She is eternally intrigued by ancient, primitive and tribal art and adornment as well as modernist art and architecture.
