The multiband ring, also known as a trinity or Russian or rolling ring, was made (very) popular by Cartier. So popular, it’s easy to forget that the design itself isn’t all that original.

The jewelled bands tend to up the price ante considerably. I looked at the Cartier trinity ring set with diamonds and realized it was probably a small condo in some cities, so that didn’t go anywhere.
