I’m not sure which is more embarrassing: the fact that I completely forgot that I had this Yves Saint Laurent necklace (and have never even worn it) or that when I checked the likely date of acquisition, it was probably 2004. My bad.

I believe it was 2004 because I vaguely recall the primary reason for buying it was that it was Tom Ford’s last collection for Saint Laurent. Which was in the aforementioned year of 2004. I have really got to start curating my collection…

What I found fascinating when I took it out of its box is that it bears a striking resemblance to the very popular Arty design, which I believe was only introduced in 2010. Looks like someone else may have been digging through their collection. Though I think we both prefer to consider it as archives. Sounds way less hoarder-like, don’t you think?
