Jewel of the day: Andrea Liberman Lady Spike baguette diamond ring

If you are in LA (Brentwood, to be exact), consider a visit to Broken English jewelry, where you will find this ring by Andrea Liberman, and other interesting pieces. (Rolling Stones muse Marianne Faithfull made the song famous and her photo appears on the stores’s web site splash page.)

Here is their description of their philosophy:

Jewelry is a language unto itself, symbolic of moments and  milestones whose significance is impossible to put into words. This is the philosophy of Broken English. We view each piece as more than a beautiful object, whether it’s the literal meaning of an engagement ring, the rarity of an antique charm or the quality of the gemstone a jeweler chooses. Each one comes with a story, which then becomes part of the wearer’s history.

Broken English offers something for everyone, from the ancient to the avant garde. We represent a wide variety of unique designers from all over the world. It is our goal to provide a showcase for designers, at the forefront of design, innovation and quality. Our designers are pioneers and trendsetters. Each piece of jewelry is a work of art.”

Back to the ring … it is described only as “18k yellow gold baguette diamond ring”.  Given the care lavished on their design philosophy, I was a little bit surprised there is no additional detail on the designer or the materials used. The ring can be yours for USD $19,863, either on the Broken English web site or at their store.
