I have a fair number of pieces from Links of London, and miss their all-gold designs like those in the Anoushka, Watch Over Me and Anthologie collections. I can well understand why companies are quietly moving away from gold and into other metals, but I do miss those type of pieces. This collaboration with Formula 1 racing outfit McLaren is something that actually should be made in other metals. It is crafted in stainless steel and PVD, and riffs on the mechanics of the famed company: it features 3 cushion shaped rings with washers between each section, 40 perforations and 8 patented McLaren screws.
