At first glance, these look like ladyslipper flowers rendered in ivory. They are actually snake vertebrae. The artist’s intent is to reveal the beauty in what could be seen as a material no one would think of for jewellery. They are available with either gold (USD $850)  or sterling silver ($300)  posts.
