Jewel of the day: Kiel Mead forget me not ring

String tied in a knot around a finger or wrist has long been used as an aide memoire … and Brooklyn, NY based jeweller Kiel Mead has taken the simple reminder to another level by casting a piece of string and turning it into a ring.  His play on word of knot/not is also sweet. The ring is available in a variety of metals, including powder coated bronze, gold and silver. Available for purchase at $65 in sterling silver from the Museum of Modern Art gift shop.
