Jewel of the day: Elsa Peretti Open Heart Bracelet in Yellow Gold on a Red Silk Cord

Tiffany’s collaboration with Elsa Peretti began in 1974, when she introduced this floating heart (which is actually called the open heart) design as part of her first collection for the brand.

It’s been interpreted over the years in silver, gold, and studded with diamonds, in small to large sizes. Here, the heart functions as a clasp for a silk cord bracelet. The cord is also available in five other colours, including the signature Tiffany blue.

It sells for USD$1,900.
