The diamond station necklace was popularized by Elsa Peretti and Tiffany’s clever marketing, calling it diamonds by the yard. The name evoked precious jewellery and lavishness, that you could have a literal spool of diamonds.
This now classic design, by Roberto Coin, is the same look as Peretti’s with five bezel set diamonds totalling .23 carats, set in 18k white gold.
It sells for USD$1,580.
