I will admit that it annoys me to find a nice piece of jewelry where the designer can’t be bothered to post what the actual materials are. These earrings from Dean Davidson are elegant and unusual but why not say what they’re made of?
I would assume gold plated brass (it’s not indicated) but the stones are described as a “rich blue synthetic gemstone.” Um, which gemstone is it supposed to be replicating? Is it glass? And for what it’s worth, what they describe as Art Deco codes in the metal are not actually Art Deco.
But if all that doesn’t put you off, these sell for CAD$250.
I like Dean Davidson’s designs, but some transparency would be welcome.
