I like this ring from Pandora but I can’t say I’m as fond of their description of the metal. The stones are cubic zirconia, and the metal … well, it’s described as, “Warm golden glow, plated to last and paired with our unique metal blend core.”

So … brass with gold plate? If so, just say so. Even though at CAD$155 it isn’t priced like fine jewelry it’s still a chunk of change to not know exactly what you’re getting. It’s a ring, not a scavenger hunt. Do better, Pandora.
