If you like modernist/brutalist jewelry, you probably already know about Pal Kepenyes. Hungarian born, he lived and worked in Mexico, using bronze for jewelry and sculpture. Kepenyes lived to be 94 and died in 2021.

This cuff bracelet, which belongs to a friend, features the small milagros charms that were used as votive offerings or as thanks for answered prayers. Because of the way they are affixed to the bracelet surface, they have quite a bit of movement.
