Jewel of the day: Charriol Geneva Celtic Bangle Knot

I have a few pieces by Charriol and enjoy them for their durability and the security of the bracelet lock. Having lost an expensive bracelet, I wanted something that is more secure, so turned to these and the Fope Flex’It bracelets. Worry free.

This design is part of their knot aesthetic. They explain, “A recurring motif found in the dimensional decoration of Celtic style is the endless knot, a deft design wherein a simple pattern interlaces back on itself – a nod to the notion of an endless continuum. As such, our Celtic® Knot line enacts a symbol of eternity and an emblem of fidelity as two parallel lines fold over a loop of iconic twisted cable to form a pleasing configuration that is at once refined and resolute. Such an agreeable impression of satisfying design extends to the ring and earring sets, pieces that are compact, enduring and lovely – the trifecta of daily wear. The line binds our signature cable to yellow gold PVD, an elegant juxtaposition of light and dark, textured and smooth, simple and ornate, a binary proposal built for a signature style.”

PVD is a process of vaporizing gold and vacuum sealing it onto a base metal, in this case stainless steel.

This sells for USD$279 and I can attest to the fact that Charriol pieces stack beautifully.
