These beautiful earrings by Silvia Furmanovich are described as marquetry, which is a type of inlay work commonly found on furniture using different woods and other materials. Here it appears as though Furmanovich has used blue topaz in what I would assume is an enamel base, but it isn’t noted.

She used 18k yellow gold and .17 carats of diamonds and 1.40 carats of blue topaz.
