Jewel of the day: Bottega Veneta Drop Earrings

Bottega Veneta keeps reinventing itself. For years, Thomas Maier was the lead designer, leaning into the no logo brand with a lot of finely woven bags and accessories and jewelry that mimicked the weaving. He was succeeded by Daniel Lee, who went from ornate sterling silver pieces to using bright green as a signature for everything from bags to jewelry. Lee was in turn succeeded by Matthieu Blazy, whose minimalist style suits the brand perfectly.

These sinuous drop earrings are made of gold plated sterling silver (vermeil) and make an elegant impression. They are also available with no gold plating. As shown, these are priced at USD$1,150.
