In the 60s and 70s, this would likely have been dubbed a cocktail ring. But these days, wear what you like, when you like.
Meredith Young created this piece: “One hexagon cut seafoam tourmaline from Afghanistan sits on a slightly domed oval surrounded by princess diamonds graduating outward. Adding to the three dimensionality of this ring, graduated sized princess diamonds move down the shank as if dissolving. Tiny concave marks in the gold are placed by hand and continue this idea of dissolving chaos. Inside the gallery features curved lines that radiate outward. Set in 18k white gold with satin finish, this ring features a 4 carat tourmaline and 1.66 ctw of white princess diamonds.”
This retails for USD$16,280.
