Having lost one expensive bracelet too many due to defective clasps, I am all for a stretch bracelet. My heart belongs to Fope, which uses gold springs. I am not sure what mechanism is being used in these bracelets by Zydo Italy. Their description notes, “This charming 18kt white gold stretch bracelet features 3.45cts of beautiful black and white diamonds, in a tasteful and classic look. The expanding stretching action makes this bracelet easy and comfortable to slip on and off, while its outstanding manufacturing ensures that the springs are both sturdy and durable.” So springs, but they may be base metal.
