I was really saddened to learn this week that it seems that Miriam Haskell is no more. At least I was unable to find their web site and it seems that a lot of retailers who had carried the brand have everything marked down. Haskell is one of the the premiere names in vintage costume jewellery and it’s just a shame that another heritage brand has now disappeared.
The relatively good news is that there is a lot of good vintage Haskell out there. This vintage piece, from Ruby Lane seller Wild Goose Chase Antiques and Collectibles features milky blue oblong beads on a wire wrap form. Makes me wonder what the rest of the set might have looked like.
This is currently on sale for USD$85.
