As per yesterday’s post, mismatched earrings are definitely now a thing (generally one worn close the ear and one much longer). This pretty piece by Roksanda reminds me a lot of work by Kazuko Oshima (several of whose pieces I feel fortunate to own).
Available at Net-A-Porter, they note, “Graphic, sculptural earrings were seen with many looks on Roksanda’s Spring ’18 runway. Made in the UK from gold-tone brass, this single style is artfully suspended from a baroque freshwater pearl and has vibrant jasper that’s held in a cage of wire. Wear it with your hair tucked into a turtleneck or coat collar for maximum impact.”
It’s on sale as of this writing for 70% off (hey, you could buy a pair!) for USD$112.50.
And if you’d like to see some of Oshima’s work, I’ve written about her previously here and here.
