Gucci has been doing heavy embellishment on its bags and clothes for a couple of seasons now. It can be charming, very out there, or just plain peculiar (and likely unwearable for anyone with a day job.)
This headband is pretty in an aristocratic manque kind of way (and it looks like they either have Daphne Guinness or a model who looks a lot like her modelling on the site). I could definitely see her wearing this crystal headpiece in the form of two lyres, one on either side of the head. Or maybe just bring it out for the office Christmas bash.
