I thought this was contemporary until I looked at the description of the seller, Erstwhile. They date it to 1910. So consider this the wrap to this Edwardian themed week.
The rather impressive looking piece is described thus: “Antique Edwardian engagement ring set with a 5.05 carat navette-shaped diamond with GIA certificate stating the diamond is J color/VVS2 clarity with 8 old European-cut diamonds and a delicate multi-pronged platinum and 18K gold mount. Circa 1910.”
This sells for USD$95,000 for that extra special person in your life or perhaps for yourself.
