Here is something very dainty and precious at the same time: a three diamond pendant from Kataoka. Sold by Ylang23, the pendant features two baguette diamonds and one round cut on a 17.5 inch gold chain (described by the site as beige gold … that’s a new one on me.) These are very petite but I love the idea of having the diamonds to play with. This sells for USD$4,375.
About the designer: “Yoshinobu Kataoka was born in Japan and graduated from Kyoto Seika University’s Faculty of Visual Design. Joining his family’s jewelry company as Chief Designer, he began to create his original jewelry pieces.
Opening his first company “Yoshinob,” Kataoka was involved in every process from production to completion and his eye for detail, skillful technique and beautiful designs won him wide recognition in Japan.
In 2011, Kataoka’s growing passion to create a more artisanal line of jewelry prompted him to create his own brand “Kataoka.” Today, Yoshinobu Kataoka strives to create jewelry to appeal to women with luxurious tastes who love exquisite jewelry, as well as catch the eye of those women who are not interested in jewelry at all.”
