These have no name, according to the Roberto Coin web site, but this design was worn by First Lady Michelle Obama. Simple in execution, they are 18k yellow gold in an open triangle shape. They are 70 mm long, and sell for USD$1,700.
She was photographed wearing them for the cover of the New York Times magazine. Coin’s site notes, “Wearing a pair of Roberto Coin’s Designer Gold earrings, First Lady Michelle Obama graces the cover of a stunning special edition of T, NY Times Magazine. The tribute to the First Lady, which hits shelves on October 23rd, is available digitally here. Public figures Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Gloria Steinem, Jon Meacham and Rashida Jones lend their voices to “love letters” celebrating her legacy. Michelle Obama is praised for championing for the education of young girls all over the world, combatting childhood obesity with healthier lifestyle initiatives and for bringing warmth and strength to the White House. During her eight years as First Lady, she became an American style icon, blending timeless classics with her own unique edge—perfectly captured in her striking cover shot and choice of Roberto Coin earrings.”
