I used to think that Mexican sterling = tacky tourist tat. But there are so many lovely styles and designs and designers that belie that belief, and I am fortunate to own a few wonderful things. I don’t have anything from Sigi Pineda, but I would be proud to wear this clean looking sterling silver bracelet, likely done around the 1950s. It’s offered by One Good Eye Silver, which also has some rather nice examples by a variety of Mexican talleres.
This sells for USD$565.
