Something tells me this one looked better as a sketch than as rendered, where it can also be interpreted as a beer, or semi-patriotic (just add blue) American …. thingy (maybe an attempt at a fungal Linconesque top hat?). I’m not that sure it’s terribly popcorn-like to me, but I find it’s weirdness strangely endearing.
