On a recent trip to NY, I came across toiletry items made from Japanese Binchotan charcoal. These included soap, a toothbrush, and a bath towel imbued with the charcoal.
Binchotan charcoal is specially aged and considered to be the highest quality activated charcoal with positive effects on the body (supposedly, enhancing blood circulation and aiding in removing toxins from the skin). You can read more about it on Morihata’s site, a leading purveyor of Binchotan charcoal products.
This bracelet, available from Fancy.com, can be worn in the water (pool, shower, dish washing) with no ill effects to the beads, and the string the beads are on is adjustable. It sells for USD$79.
