Chihiro Makio works primarily in silver, using a variety of stones and materials to complement it. Here, Labradorite beads and pave diamonds are used on a pendant that recalls Art Nouveau shapes.

The designer notes, “This new series is my interpretation of timeless classic look with a contemporary edge. Using Pave Diamond beads and charms (natural color diamonds are pave set into sterling silver beads) and setting them into sterling silver frame with Art Deco/Nouveau style. Chain and findings are all oxidized sterling silver. Accent beads on chains are faceted labradorite beads.”
