I really like the pieces offered by Monica Rich Kosann – lockets, chains, charms. They can be personalized and made somewhat more individual, they can be worn in groupings, and they are luxurious – heavy and well made.

This charm necklace (can’t tell if it’s too small to actually wear as a ring) is in the style of poesy pieces, which had an engraved sentiment and were popular from the 15th through 17th centuries as lovers’ tokens. This ring is engraved with “I love you more” and set with tiny sapphires in 18k yellow gold. The chain is sold separately. It retails for US$940 and sells through Bergdorf Goodman.
