One of the things I enjoy about writing this blog is discovering new jewellers. I had worried a bit when I started that I would run out of new designers to talk about but it hasn’t happened, and it’s been several years.
Today, the brand Inesiene, which is described thusly on the company web site: Inesiene jewellery brings back the spirit and traditions of ancient Mediterranean jewellery. Ines Nieto, the designer, was born and grew up in Spain always passionate about archaeology and ancient jewellery. After completing her degree in Art History she moved to London in 2003 to study a Masters degree in Fine Arts and worked as an art dealer for several years. In 2010 she started Inesiene to recover the techniques and styles in jewellery from ancient Mediterranean cultures.”
I like the texture of this ruby eternity band, total carat weight of 1.1, made with sunshiney 18k yellow gold. It sells for ₤3,450.00 from the designer’s site.
