Alexis Bittar is perhaps best known for his acrylic and crystal set jewelry but he recently ventured into what he is terming fine jewelry.

It’s not unreasonable, when buying things online, to ask, “Well, what is this made of?” I’m not sure why jewellers are so reluctant to provide the details of the materials they use but many are. This piece is described only in its title as being set with white sapphires. No clue as to the metal, though for the USD $1,195 price, I’m guessing sterling silver.
