I didn’t even bother checking out the coverage of last night’s People’s Choice Awards because … People’s Choice Awards.

I remember when these were launched and my dad said with disgust, “These people are always patting themselves on the back for something.” Now, if only they were patting themselves on the back WITH something.

A cursory glance at red carpet photos showed the predictable swathes of bare skin and a paucity of any great accessorizing whatsoever.

Case in point: winner Stana Katic (below) in a Hererra ballgown and not much of anything else.

Yawn.
