Solange Azagury-Partridge is pretty well known for her whimsical women’s jewellery (perhaps most popular is her Hot Lips ring, available in silver, gold and different colours of enamel).
She has launched a men’s collection, dubbed Alpha, and many of the pieces feature themes you’d expect: bones, skulls, mythical creatures, and the like. I do have a fondness for the peacock ring, an oval piece with a blue enamel peacock feather on it. It’s the literal symbol of the dandy.
This ring has no real male or female symbolism, which is perhaps why I liked it more. It’s a chunky piece of blackened 18k yellow gold set with square cut diamonds; not sure if these are on both side as only one view is shown and there are no details providing any clarity. Love this designer! The princess cut diamonds face up so large, and really maximize the bling for the buck, too. My line is very unisex, as well. This piece I find very inspiring…a wearable and easy accessory. The finish speaks to time and the elements–a look I aspire to and adore. Kudos Solange!!!
Yeah, this ring really is wonderful IMO. Chunky and distressed just enough and with a fair bling factor.
