Named for famed diva Maria Callas, this chunky ring is offered by Angelique de Paris. It’s made of sterling silver, blackened rhodium, resin and cubic zirconia. Available in either an aqua or white finish over sterling silver. Their pieces are solid and well made and yes, I can see Callas (or any diva) happy to have this sparkling on their hand.

Congrats to the designer of this remarkable ring. It’s a lot of bling for the buck, no doubt. I have met this wonderful lady. She and her husband lived in Paris for many years. In fact, we met in Paris. Her collection is fun and very sustainable. The “resin” shank makes sizing an issue, for those of us who shift in weight. Otherwise, the pieces are durable and yes, well made. I prefer pieces that are tooled over by artisans with a slow and careful hand. But, if the budget doesn’t always permit that, this collection is perfect. Also, if you leave it in your hotel room on a cruise, you’re not losing “the boat.”
I have a few of their pieces and was pleasantly surprised by how well made they all are. They are a lot of fun!
