The textured surface of this bracelet by Shaesby, part of the Avignon collection, reminds me of Canadian pewter designs of the 1960s by names like Robert Larin, Guy Vidal and others. If you have never seen pieces of that era, I encourage you to do a little searching. Pewter tends to be undervalued as a metal, and some very innovative designs were seen during this period – and are still relatively affordable to collectors.
I am assuming this piece is made in sterling silver, however. Alas, there are no details on the site as to the metal used. I have and love pieces by Shaesby and can heartily recommend the designer.
This bracelet sells for USD $1,215.
