So 27-year old Mary-Kate Olsen is marrying 44-year old Olivier Sarkozy. She  gets former supermodel Carla Bruni as her sister-in-law (the style throw downs will be epic), and oh, yeah, this great vintage Cartier ring, which sealed the deal.

Some online hate it but I really love it. It’s chunky, wonderful vintage goodness: from 1953, with a four carat diamond surrounded by calibre cut sapphires. White diamonds accent the petal shapes around the diamond. It was bought at auction for just over USD $81,000.  It’s not your usual halo set big ass diamond engagement ring (good) and has a really cool vibe (better). Go, Mary-Kate.
