There is something about these simple and yet gaudy rhinestone earrings that delights the tacky 8-year-old in me. I mean, they are exactly the kind of earrings you think you want as a kid, full of glitter and over the top and pretty much unwearable for most occasions. You know, because they are too long and would catch on your clothes and just look a tad too trashy. So they pass into the “so awful they’re wonderful” category for me.
They are selling for an 8-year-old pleasing USD $12, and of course, the Marilyn in their name is intended to evoke Marilyn Monroe, I’m guessing. Get it, girl. Available from Foreign Exchange.
