I got into a discussion about Native American silver last week with an online friend, and realized how little I know about this area of jewellery. She directed me to Martha Hopkins Struever’s gallery, where I came upon this charming pin by Darell Jumbo. Jumbo actually named this pin Wooly Bully, which seems fitting (and was a great song by Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs…).

This Wooly Bully is a rather sweet and somewhat perplexed looking ram hand made in sterling silver. It measures 1 1/4 inches long by 3 inches wide and sells for USD $220 on Struever’s site. Click here for an interesting bio of Jumbo (love his top hat and tails, BTW).
