After paging through a lot of overdone jewellery (and if I’m saying it’s overdone, trust that it was) this relatively simple bangle bracelet with an intriguing top knot design was a refreshing change.

Made by Mawi and for sale at Gold Philosophy, there is a paucity of information. Under “details” it says ‘hinge bracelet – sized to fit most’ but no word on what it’s made of. Given that it costs USD $580 and the price of gold is still high, I’m guessing base plated metal. Though for this price, it would be nice to know for sure. The site does note that it’s 2-1/2″ x 2″ should you be inclined to enquire further.
