Although the price of gold has dropped dramatically in the last year, a lot of jewellers are still working in non-precious metals like brass, copper, and tin.
Garnett Jewellery offers this brass and iolite necklace, which they have dubbed the Medina. Garnett is the handiwork of Aimee Munford: Combining the old with the new, many of her pieces evoke an heirloom feel with every piece telling a different story. Aimee is always on the lookout for antique trinkets including charms, glass beads and stones to incorporate into her collection. Her keen eye for color, love of nature and use of texture influence each of her designs in a unique and personal way. Working out of her Richmond, Virginia studio Aimee handcrafts each piece with attention to detail and craftsmanship. Currently she sells locally at boutiques and has developed a loyal following, but hopes to reach a wider audience as Garnett Jewelry continues to grow.
This is available for purchase on the Garnett website for USD $89.
