I have met few large and over the top glitzy brooches I didn’t fall in love with, and this one is no exception. I also got a giggle from the brand name, Secret Red Carpet. Come on – admit it. Haven’t you wondered what it would be like to walk a red carpet, cameras flashing, journalists demanding to know who you’re wearing? Secret red carpet is pretty apt.

Their Celine Royal Crystal brooch is made in Germany with Swarovski crystal anthracite grey and clear stones. The back is completely enclosed, a plus in my view. And I am also a sucker for brooches with movement. Win!
