Mixing leather with ceramic coated gold and diamonds, white and coloured, gives you this Allegra design by Italian jewellers de Grisogono.
The collection, which also includes pendants, rings and earrings and is also available in solid metals rather than leather, is named for the eldest daughter of the house’s owner. It’s a great way to take the formality of diamonds (or coloured stones) and give them some lightness or edge (depending on the leather and setting colour). This would make a great, non-traditional gift and I think it would be a quirky, interesting choice for bridal jewellery.
