I am fascinated by talismans – things that are supposed to ward off evil or bring luck or good fortune. Every culture seems to have something that is worn or used for these purposes. I have several evil eye pieces, from a gold pendant I bought in a Turkish market in Berlin, to cheap bracelets with evil eye beads, to a Links of London gold necklace with tokens including an evil eye made of quartz, gold and diamonds.
This bracelet by Dream Collective is made of brass and enamel, and available in three different colours. I like the almost primitive look of the eye design. It looks like something an archeologist might come across on an Egyptian dig. And then know she had stumbled on some good luck as well.
Available for USD $185.
