Happy Canada Day to those who celebrate! And what more patriotic (and ok, stereotypical) way to mark it than with a pendant from Canada’s premier jeweller, Birks … in the shape of a snowflake.

It looks more like a cluster pendant to me and I confess to having a horror of the word cluster when used with the word jewellery. But this is pretty and sweet, made of 18k white gold and set with a petite .11 carats of square diamonds. I’ve got to say it bears a striking resemblance to Tiffany’s Victoria pendants, and these also come in larger (and more expensive) sizes. This one sells for Cdn $695. The site doesn’t indicate if it comes with the chain pictured, so you might want to double check if interested.
